Lakefair 2008, “Family, Community, Friends” will be held from July 16-20 (Wednesday-Sunday). We hope your group is interested in being part of the festival activities and are ready to help us celebrate our communities of Lacey, Olympia and Tumwater with friends and family. We must receive your Water & Athletics Application Form, Proof of Insurance, and Waiver & Release From Liability Form (part A & B), and Addendum (part C) signed by the person in charge by April 1, 2008. This early date insures your event will be included in the Lakefair advertising program and if appropriate included in our contract with Department of General Administration (event takes place on state property - Capitol Lake, Percival Cove, Marathon Park, Sylvester Park or the Capitol Campus). All events taking place on state property during Lakefair contract dates between July 16 & July 20, 2008 must go through Lakefair to be included in the contract and not contact General Administration directly. The Waiver & Release From Liability Form (part A & B) has an Addendum (part C) which addresses specific concerns with the possible pollutants in Capitol Lake and must be signed by anyone who takes part in activities in or around Capitol Lake.
