Lakefair has always been a safe family friendly festival but for the Safety of all attending, there is a large presence of Olympia Police Officers (OPD).

In addition to OPD Officers on foot patroling all of Lakefair, there is also Olympia Fire Department Paramedics and Washington State Patrol Troopers on bicycles.

Additionally Olympia Police will have officers stationed in their Communications Van on Legion Way near the corner of Water Street.

Capital Lakefair staff will be easily recognizable with orange t-shirts with "EVENT STAFF" on the shirt back.

So Should you have an emergency of any type, Help is not far away.
