REQUIRED INSURANCE
Evidence of insurance for both bodily injury and property damage liability with combined single limits of $1,000,000 (each occurrence/aggregate) is required on floats,
*motorized vehicles, specialty units with a motorized vehicle and equestrian units. Capital Lakefair must be named as an additional insured.

motorized vehicles described as "cars and or pickup trucks are excluded
from the requirement to provide certificate of insurance. HOWEVER,
these vehicles must be insured and the vehicle must be able to provide a
"proof of insurance card" upon request. If vehicle owner can not
provide this
proof of insurance the vehicle will not be permitted to enter the parade
route.
EVIDENCE OF YOUR INSURANCE MUST BE
RECEIVED BY THE CAPITAL LAKEFAIR OFFICE BY JUNE 30, 2011.
Floats, specialty units with a motorized vehicle or equestrian units not supplying evidence of insurance will not be allowed to participate in the Capital Lakefair Grand Parade.
Equestrian groups, such as posse, patrol or saddle clubs may meet this insurance requirement with the group’s insurance policy. If your equestrian group does not have insurance, each individual rider must meet the insurance requirement. Individual riders: consult with your insurance agent to see if a ‘rider’ can be added to your homeowner’s policy to meet the insurance requirement.
